He is survived by: his wife Doris E. Matyas (Gieseler); his sons, Steve Matyas (Jennifer) of Toronto and Jeff Matyas (Jennifer) of Toronto; his brother Mike Matyas (Grenda); his grandchildren, Brendan, Ryan Matyas, Megan Russell (Justin), Sydney Matyas and Tiffany Bowman (Buster); his great grandchildren, Sophie, Bo Bowman, Kayden, Kruze and Kenleigh Russell; his pets, Katie and Jack; and also, Amy and Chris Barcus.
