He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Brownlee and Virginia Brownlee (Shook); his wife Joyce Anne Brownlee (Exterovich); and his siblings, Terry Brownlee and Virginia Brownlee.

He is survived by: his son Troy Maxwell Mieczkowski-Brownlee of Weirton.
