He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ray and Susan Ray (Brannan); and his former wife Naomi Ray (Gallagher). He is survived by: his wife Cathy Ray (Hartline); his children, David W., Jr. Ray (Deanna) of Van Wert, OH, William 'Bill' Nichols (Vicki) of Toronto, John Paul Ray of Youngstown, OH, Suzanne Marie Ray of Van Wert and Cindy Granat (Christopher) of Minerva, OH; and his brother John Ray (Carolyn) of Holden Beach, NC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
