He was predeceased by : his parents, Victor Oprisch and Louise Gehlert Oprisch; his siblings, Helen, Nellie Alvis (Bob), Lousie Locke (Bob), Dorothy Harasick (Frank), Marie Bucher (Dick), Joe Oprisch (Mary Ann) and Herman Oprisch; and his sister-in-law Janet Drake (Kenny).

He is survived by : his sister Betty Owens (Gerald) of Steubenville; his sister-in-law Mickie Freeman of Amsterdam, OH; his grandchildren, Kristopher (Leah) of Taiwan, Daniel (Anna) of Nashville, TN, Anna Herrmann (Greg) of Massillon, Alexis Christakis of Cincinnati and John Christakis (Caitlyn) of Sommerville, MA; and his son Michael. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
