He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Mills and Gladys M. Lumpkins; his wife Pearl Kathryn Mills (Kathy); and his siblings, Myrtle Guiddy, Doris Mills, Wallace Mills, James Mills and Joseph Mills.
He is survived by: his brothers, Earl Mills (Judy) and Leo Mills (Julie); his children, Carla Kuntupis (George), John Mills (Carol), Deborah Rieckmann (Helmut) and Misty McConnaughy; his grandchildren, Rich Davis (Angie), Amber Davis, Lindsey Stonebraker (Bryan), Alex Kuntupis, Cody Kuntupis, Cory Kuntupis, Daniel Rieckmann, Gabby Rieckmann, Betty Rieckmann and Abigail Duvall; and his great grandchildren, Emma Davis, Reagan Davis, Briley Blancato and Adison Blancato.
