It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Zita Mary Vollmar of Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Urban and Zita Urban (Langenderfer); her husband Edward "Jake" Vollmar; and her siblings, Mildred Ames, Franklin, Louis, Alvin, Victor and Donald Urban.
She is survived by: her children, Edward J. Vollmar Jr. (Mary), Ann, Nancy and Sherry Vollmar; her grandsons, Benjamin (Cassy) and Daniel Vollmar; her stepgranddaughter Maria Rawson (Simon); and her siblings-in-law, Helen Urban, Patricia Evans (Bob), Karen Vollmar and Jim Winhoven. She is also survived by four great grandchildren; nine step-great- grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church and the Alzheimer's Association.
