He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Schmidt and Mary Schmidt (Carroll); and his wife Linda Ciprian. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Schmidt and Brian Schmidt (Christine); his grandchildren, Mark II, Julianna, Andrew, Allison and Charles; and his siblings, Connie Shriner (Dave) and Greg Schmidt (Darlene).
