He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Terry and Gloria McClain; and his uncle Jeff McClain. He is survived by: his son James Settlemeyer; his parents, Aaron O'Neal (Erica) and Melissa McClain; his grandparents, Charlie, Debra O'Neal, William, Shari Banks and Joy Moore; his great-grandparent Aileen O'Neal; and his siblings, Alayna Canaday (Nathan), Brooke Gant (Harley), Robert O'Neal, Tristan Buck (Danielle), Rebekah O'Neal and Elizabeth O'Neal. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
