He is survived by: his stepmother Erma Seymore of Detroit, Michigan.; his siblings, Darryl, Brian, Dwayne Seymore, Vinnie Gullatt, Vanessa Seymore, Elizabeth Williams, Jo Ann Stuart, Alma Dortch-Gilbert, Beverly Dortch and Sandra Simmons; his children, Marvin Crittenden (Jori), Aaron Seymore (Markita), Rodney Blackshear, Breon Davis, Michael Thompson, Valerie Powell, Ladora Wells, Helen Sims, Ruby Carter, Crystal Duff (Alan), Santosha Pratt (Sammie) and Syreeta Seymore; and his cousin Oscar Hill. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
