It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Suzanne Smotherman of Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Suzanne departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Suzanne may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Suzanne leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benny Rodgers and Neva Rodgers; her daughter Connie Graham; and her siblings, Joyce, Johnny and Calvin.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Kamer (Gregory) and Galen Collins; and her sister Dionna Mae Miller. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Freck Funeral Chapel (1155 S Wynn Rd, Oregon, OH 43616).
