He is survived by: his children, Bernice Millhouse, Shafona Garmon, Steven Edwards, Kenta Johnson, Anthony Jones and Tyrell Louis; his brothers, William Ellis (Pat) and Marvin Harris; his stepbrother Ricky Tyus; his sisters, JoAnne Ricks, Patricia Brown and Debra E. Harris; and his stepsister Robin Tyus.
