With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen P. Bartus Jr. (Toledo, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Stephen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Stephen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen and Elsie Bartus (Hasenbalg); his son Andrew; and his siblings, Judy (Sue) and David.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Sell; and his children, Laura (Nelson), Philip and Timothy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walter Funeral Home (4653 Glendale Ave, Toledo, OH 43614). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gateway Baptist Church (6047 Dorr St, Toledo, OH 43615).
