He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Marie Decker Stone and Ruskin Beechler Stone; and also, Scottish, MacIntosh and Abercrombie.
He is survived by: his wife Prudence White Stone; his children, Spencer D. Stone, Jr. (Christine Contardi Stone), Sophia, Sarah, George W. Stone (Christopher Farmer) of Washington, D. C. and Robin Hayward Stone of Toledo; his adoptive sons, Andrew J. Bernstein of Livingston, Aslan Kamali of San Diego and Eliot Wajskol of Portland, Oregon.; his brother Douglas Stone (Karen Gradel Stone); his nephew Stephen Stone; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hayden and Brady of Tiffin, Ohio; his nephew Michael Stone; his niece Anne Stone Browning (Eric); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ellie, Ashley and Rachel of Dublin, Ohio..
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Inverness Country Club (4601 Dorr St, Toledo, OH 43615).
