She was predeceased by: her parents, Lilbert Slaughter and Lois Slaughter (Yelder); her siblings, Valerie Harper (Ulysee), Catherine Slaughter, Lilbert Slaughter Jr., Octavia Slaughter and Michael Slaughter; and her stepsister Joan Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Ty Watson (Tiffine), Kenneth Watson (Barb) and Valentina Slaughter; her grandchildren, Kyah, Xavier, Layla, Ra'Vaila and Mikaeel; her great grandchildren, Hadiya and Ramiya; and her siblings, Aridian Harper (James), Mercidee Lewis (Floyd), Demetrius Slaughter and Michelle Slaughter. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
