It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Ray Phillips of Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Samuel Ray Phillips to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Samuel Ray shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Samuel Ray farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Phillips and Beth Phillips (Blauvelt); and his brother Daniel Phillips. He is survived by: his sons, Andrew and Jeffrey "Flip" Phillips (Kelly); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Phillips II and Cassandra Arnold (Chad); his sister Betsy Sheehy; and his pet Lulu. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel (8300 Lewis Ave, Temperance, MI 48182).
