He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Schermerhorn Sr. and Betty-Jean; his daughters, Stephanie Horton (Josh), Samantha Schermerhorn, Amy Sayre (Jamie) and Debbie Lemke; his siblings, Dwayne (Janet) and Sandy Wilcox; his former wife Margie Schermerhorn; and his grandchildren, Austin, Christopher, Joshua Jr., Samuel and Braelyn.
