She was predeceased by: her mother Edna Hughes; her husband William Goings; and her daughters, Edna Nunn and Wilma Goings. She is survived by: her children, Leon Petty (Eunice) and Floyda Blanchard (Charles); and her grandchildren, Dwight L. Nunn Jr., Corey L., Antionette M. Goings and Stephanie Showers (Floyd). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
