He was predeceased by: his father Robert Hand; his brother Randy Hand; and his pets, Gunner and Cooper. He is survived by: his mother Sharon Hand (Everett); his wife Cheri (Vaughan); his children, Rachael Tenney (Drew), Liz Lauffer, Careigh Flemming (Toby) and Ethan Lauffer (Katie); his grandchildren, Caliber, Cadence Tenney, Leo Flemming and Sienna Lauffer; his siblings, Kathy Carr and Mike Hand (Sarah); his uncle Dave Everett (Val); and his mother-in-law Patti Vaughan. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In honor of Rory's helpful personality, he asked that any donations can be made to St. Jude or The American Cancer Society, in his memory.
