He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thompson and Elizabeth Thompson of Point Place; his wife Eudene; and his brother James Thompson. He is survived by: his significant other Melva Balogh; his children, Donna Spencer (Jim) and Ronald D. Thompson; his sister Ina Antoine; and his grandchildren, Holly Simmons, Doug Spencer, Ross Spencer, Kyle Thompson and Avery Thompson.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ansberg-West Funeral Home (3000 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43613).
