He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Maier and Mary Maier (Hoag); his brothers, David and Mark Maier; and his friend Mary Jane Hummel.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Maier, Chris Maier (Julie) and Cathy Connell (Jeff); his nieces, Melissa Maier and Erica Roberts; and his pet Cody. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
