He was predeceased by: his parent Elder Louis; his wife Valerie Foster Sandifer; his mother Mother Mary Sandifer; and his siblings, Louis, Joe, Leon, James, Audie, Louise, Fannie and Lemona.

He is survived by: his sisters, Rosie Murphy (Walter), Irene Middle, Mary White (Greg) and Shirley Windmon. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the House of Day Funeral Services Chapel (2550 Nebraska Ave, Toledo, OH 43607). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Park Banquet Hall (2541 Nebraska Ave, Toledo, OH 43607).
