He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Crawford; and his siblings, Mary, Lewis, Walter, Tommy and Roberta.
He is survived by: his aunt Florene Ellis; his wife Hope Funches; his family Baptist of Indiana; his children, Linda Funches (DeQuan Belcher), Danielle Funches, Brittany Funches, Briana Funches and Robert Funches Jr.; his grandchildren, Symone Payton, Sydney Funches, Charles Woods, Rylan Gaines, Bailey Walker, Janelle Gaines, Eli Walker, Deon Belcher, Chanel LaVette and Samiyah; his goddaughter Rasharah Lewis; and his siblings, Namoni Funches, Jacqueline Funches, Nicole Moore (Anthony) of Toledo, Edward Funches (Kimberly) of Chicago Heights, Virginia Glover (Jonny) and Gloria Mulkey (Steven) of Houston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, god kids, and friends.
