He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Fountain and Ruth Fountain (Lenz); and his sister Ruth "Sis" Tibble (Betty Fountain). He is survived by: his wife Monica; his son Thomas Burtscher (Wendy); his grandchildren, Thomas, Lilly and Charlee; and his siblings, Gene Fountain (Jacque), Barbara Thomas and Mary Fountain.
