He was predeceased by: his wife Bettie Knox; his sons, Robert Knox and Terrence Knox; and his stepdaughter Margaret "Peggy" Butler (Richard). He is survived by: his daughters, Dianne Ghesquiere (Arthur), Carol Goeckerman (Ronald) and Patricia Knox. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
