He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Granata and Eleanor Granata (Hertzfeld); and his siblings, Charles, Joseph, Tom, Francis Granata and Eleanor Turner.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Granata (Guzdanski); his children, Rich (Carolyn), Steve (Misti), Jonathan Granata (Heather) and Amy Lenihan (Brian); his grandchildren, Mackenzie Scott (Curtis), Maggie Granata, Ellie Lenihan, Molly Lenihan, Will Lenihan and Natasha Lopez (Robert); his great grandchild Colton; and his brother David Granata (Karen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be given to Regina Coeli Church or Kind Hearts Hospice.
