He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; his stepdaughter Julie Rosebrook; his sister Martha Masters; and his brothers-in-law, Hal Masters and William Aufdencamp.

He is survived by: his children, Becky Hackenberg (Larry), Steven (Janice), Cherie Sears (Hunt) and Mike (Kathy); his stepdaughter Jane Killis (Don); his sibling Joan Aufdencamp; and his significant other Joan Kohl.
