He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Butts Sr. (Louis Moore) and Frances Fitch Moore; his brothers, Arthur Butts Jr. and Carlton Butts; and his granddaughter Talaya Butts.
He is survived by: his wife Coretta Butts; his children, Yolanda Butts, Tia Johnson, Tachier Butts, Ralph E. Butts Jr. (Felisha), Yameen Mahamad, Todd Johnson and Tashawn Johnson; and his stepchildren, Keysha Easterly, Myesha Crump (Justin) and Brionna Witcher. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
