He was predeceased by: his parents, Piotr Jakimczuk and Eudokia Jakimczuk; his sisters, Janina Jakimczuk and Anna Antoniak; and his brother-in-law Augustyn Cisło.
He is survived by: his wife Alicja (Wrzecion); his children, Małgorzata "Margaret" Hoff (Adam) and Piotr Jakub "PJ" Jakimczuk; his siblings, Maria Cisło, Zofia Antoniuk (Tadeusz) and Stefan Jakimczuk (Bożena); and his brother-in-law Kazimierz Antoniak. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given to Corpus Christi or Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo.
