He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambert Benschoter and Mary Benschoter (Terrill); and his sister Randi Benschoter. He is survived by: his wife Pam Benschoter; his children, Dee Dee Thorsby (James Gehr), David Benschoter (Lori), Tina Robinson (Donald), Michelle Hickerson (Michael) and Christopher Benschoter (Misty); his grandchildren, Kevin, Becky, Michael, Angie, Sierra, Brayden, Stevenson, Darnell, Joshua and Madison; and his siblings, House Benschoter (Carol) and Jackie Gargano (Roger). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Toledo Area Humane Society in Pete's memory.
