She was predeceased by: her parents, Brint Martin and Sonnie Martin (Pittman); her husband Joseph Bassett Sr.; and her son Joseph Bassett Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Charmaine Bassett-Trimm (Mark) and Sabrina Early (Jeff); and her brothers, Ronald Martin (Beverly) and Brint Martin. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
