She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Jean Ellis (White) and Lawrence Ellis (Jean Chambers); and her siblings, Lawrence H. Ellis Jr., Connie Marshall, Donna Washington and Beverly Session.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert Blanchard Sr.; her children, Herbert Blanchard Jr., Yvette Blanchard and Wayne Blanchard II (Cereda); her sisters, Patricia Dula and Ruth-Ann Brown; her brother-in-law Charles Blanchard (Floyda); her grandchildren, Taria Blanchard, Torri Blanchard, Wayne Blanchard II (Claire) and Tasya Gant; her great grandchildren, Lila, Kelyn Layson, Tristian Toney and Wayne Blanchard III; and her daughter-in-law Vernice Blanchard. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
