He was predeceased by: his parents, James Winkle and Margaret Winkle (Behan); and his siblings, Kathleen, Patricia, Sharon and Tim Winkle.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Kossman; his siblings, Tina Withrow (Jim) and Denny Winkle (Barb Bienek); his brother-in-law Dennis Kossman (Carmen); and his great-nieces, Harper and Hayden Zapadka. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
