Brian Scott wrote a sympathy message

“I knew Mike from playing basketball with him on Thursday evenings. He was a fierce competitor on the court but an incredibly kind man off of it. He was always supportive of my career ambitions and would tell me how proud he was of me whenever I saw him. It may not have seemed like much but his kind words were always a breath of fresh air and would help to carry me through some times when I doubted myself. He was a great man and will be dearly missed.”

Marissa Hutzman wrote a sympathy message

“I had the absolute pleasure and honor to be Michael Aldrich’s fellow teacher and friend for many years. Mike consistently saw all and only the positive in every student he encountered.. His students felt safe and encouraged in his care. Michael was a constant source of love and light and he will be missed by many, including me. May we all keep his beautiful spirit alive by being a little bit kinder, a little bit more understanding, and a little bit more patient with all we encounter.”
