It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Arnold Dotson (Toledo, Ohio), who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Izetta Dotson and Alvin Dotson; his siblings, Leonard Dotson and Brenda Chatman (Ethaniel); and his sisters-in-law, Ida and Carolyn Dotson.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Dotson; his daughter Heidi Berry (Darrell); his granddaughter Makala Berry; his great grandchild Darnell Moody Jr.; and his brothers, Craig and Terry Dotson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Melvin lost a long hard-fought battle with Parkinson's Disease at the age of 83 years old.
