She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Sr. Triplett and Gladys Triplett; and her siblings, Melvin Jr., Walter Triplett, Tina Triplett and Teresa Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Lucas; her children, Mark Triplett (Erica), Marquis Triplett-Smith (Charmella), Sean Hines (Erika), Le'nnon Williams (Wendi), Angel Rivera (Deanna), Chauncey Simpson, Monica Triplett, Marisol Benavides and Fana Lewis Adejobi (Sam); her siblings, Renee Green, Angel Griffin, Gladys Triplett, Gwen Doublin, William Sr., Kalvin, Sylvester, Aaron, Theodore, Alton Triplett and Martin Lucas; her nieces and nephews, Masie Triplett, Trina Triplett, Keith and Tobin Triplett; and her godsons, Nicholas Conner, Torrey Coker and Ulysses Palmer. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 2500 Nebraska Ave, Toledo, OH 43607. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery (1540 Central Ave, Toledo, OH 43606).
