He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Caris and Emma Caris. He is survived by: his wife Renee M. Caris (Strobel); his sons, Jim Caris (Ginger) and John Caris (Terri); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Marissa Caris, Matthew Caris (Michelle), Philip Caris (Lauren) and Andrew Caris (Erin); his great grandchild Emma Marie Caris; and his brother Charles Caris, Jr..
