He was predeceased by : his parents, Marvin and Donna Lou; his uncle Roland Deye; his aunt Jean Deye; and his cousin Cindy Barto.

He is survived by : his son Bradon "Brady" (Jenna); his wife Diana "Dolly" Vesey; his daughters, Devon and Emma; his grandson Theodore; and his siblings, Todd, Teri, Kevin (Cheryl Deye), Annette (Matt Mazziotti), Kathy Ritenhour, Cary (Patty Weaver) and Debi (Doug Cherry).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (4227 Bellevue Rd, Toledo, OH 43613).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Francis de Sales High School or Notre Dame Academy.

“Mark will be sorely missed by many, including myself. He was such a kind soul and I'm blessed to have known him. He was a big presence and as consistent as the tides. I'll always remember the soccer ball and that he saw Queen at the University of Toledo's student union hall before I even knew who they were. Good times. I send my deepest sympathies and love to his family.”
