It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria Clemencia Mata of Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Albino Mata and Clara Garcia Mata; and her brother Julio Mata. She is survived by: her husband Michael Eichhorn; her siblings, Esperanza Mata Vazquez, Elvia Mata and Martin Mata; and her children, Laura Wharry (Ryan), John, Joseph (Sarah) and Abbi. She is also survived by seven grandchildren as well as countless cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Martin de Porres Parish for use for food insecurity or assistance with migrant peoples.
