She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Collins and Mary M. Collins (Hakeos); her brothers, Duane Collins and Dennis Collins; and her brother-in-law Walter Dowell.
She is survived by: her significant other Carl Schardt; her children, Lee Schardt (Sally Taylor) and Jennifer Brinkmeier (Arik); her grandson Jacob Fournier; her stepgrandchildren, Kira, Evan and Savannah Brinkmeier; and her siblings, Jody Halter (Ed), Jim Collins (Brenda), Tammy Dowell and Patrick Collins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lynn's name to the Wounded Warrior Project or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
