He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Munson Sr. (Hammersmith) and Luther Munson Sr.; his stepfather Richard Tichenor; his half-sister Marlene "Sue" Barker; and his brother-in-law Ron Perez.
He is survived by: his wife Jerilynn "Jeri" Munson (Bennett); his children, Bryan Munson, Josette "Rose" Browning (Roger) and Laura Wagner; his grandchildren, Dylan, Abby, Luke and Naomi "Button"; his sisters, Darla Wolfe (Harley) and Diane Perez; and his stepmother Thelma (Munson).
