She was predeceased by: her parents, Boss Clinkscale and Ludie Clinkscale; her siblings, Nathaniel, Jesse Clinkscale, Mabel Staples, Pearlena Holston, Mabel Bruce and Catherine Wilson; her son James W. Harris, Jr.; and her close friend Lee Atkins.
She is survived by: her children, Boss Harris, Ernest Harris, Stephen Harris, Darell Harris, Lois Harris, Jacqueline Harris and Lorene Mixon; and her sisters, Leola Holston, Lucretia Davis and Mary Wilson. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church (3232 Nebraska Ave, Toledo, OH 43607). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Forest Cemetery (1704 Mulberry St, Toledo, OH 43608).
