He is survived by: his wife Margo; his children, Micheal Shears, Teresa LePage, Patricia Shears and Jeanine Shaffer (Richard); his granddaughters, Krista Elvey-Sholars (Mike) and Lindsey Shaffer-Hollstein (Jacob); and his siblings, Beverly Cousino, Fred Kraemer and Norma Guilier.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Emmanuel Baptist or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, institutions that Larry held dear to his heart.
