He was predeceased by: his parents, Geronimo Adolfo Santillan and Manuela Coronado. He is survived by: his children, Veronica, Julio Jr. and Ismael; his grandchildren, Julissa, Jitzel, Daniela, Alvavo, Jazmire and Juanito; and his siblings, Lydia Adolfo, Nicolas, Ricardo and Ana Maria Santillan. He is also survived by 11 Nieces and Nephews.
He always like to have good conversations, loved Lucha Libre so much that he would collect toys, mascaras and face mask of Lucha Libre.
