He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary; his granddaughter Janiece; his great grandchild Miricle; and his brothers, Jim, Jack and Jay.

He is survived by: his children, Jodi Goulet (Brian) and Joseph Jr (Julie); his grandchildren, Jessica (John), Jovan, Jakob, Matt and Desarae; his great grandchildren, Brookelynn, Jayden, Nevaeh, Braxton and Jourdan; and his nieces and nephews, Tina Wilson-Hamilton and Mike Adams.
