He is survived by: his wife Wilma; his daughters, Shervl D, Smith Calhoun and Honchul (Keith); his siblings, Royal D. Smith Sr. (Daphine) of Stanton, TN, Leathia S. Thomas of Memphis, TN and Myriam Clark of Raleigh, NC.; his brother-in-law Rev. Willie J. Taylor of Memphis, TN; his grandsons, John W. K. Calhoun (Ashley) of Columbus, OH and Brendan C. W. Calhoun (Rebecca); and his great grandchild John Mays Calhoun (Jack) of Toledo, OH. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
