With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Vartanian (Toledo, Ohio), born in South Rockwood, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on November 7, 2024 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Vartanian and Elizabeth Vartanian (Brecka); his wife Marge Vartanian (Wright); his grandson Kyle Vartanian; and his sisters, Mary Vartanian, Rose Sniecinki, Gerri Golkiewicz and MaryAnn Pelton.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Vartanian, Sue Schaller (Bernie), Wendi Dunlap, Robyn Belknap, Larry Sam Vartanian and John Vartanian Jr.; and his sisters, Carol Konwinski and Jean Meek. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, and many dear and lifelong friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home (3453 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
