He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Vamos and Elizabeth Vamos (Kovacs); his wife Anita Dianne Vamos; his in-laws, John Douglas and Mary Douglas (O'Brien); his siblings, Hyacynthe Vamos and Rev. Joseph Vamos; his son John L. Vamos; and his sisters-in-law, Rosemary Vamos and Jean Vamos.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Bobak (Timothy) and Teresa Vamos; his daughter-in-law Dawn Vamos; his grandchildren, Whitney Robinson (Kyle), Kelsey Greater (Ashley), Adam Kay (Sarah) and Natalie Losh (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Cooper Greater, Riley Losh, Zoey Losh, Stetson Greater and Faylee Robinson; and his brother Steve Vamos.
In lieu of flowers, a gift to The American Heart Association can be made in John's memory.
