He was predeceased by: his mother Elouise Gibbs; his sister Jan; his wife Lois Mae Postema; his son Dan; and his granddaughter Laura Jahnke.
He is survived by: his father William Gibbs; his siblings, Shirley Westerhouse, Jerry Gibbs (Linda) and Ruth Ann Brown; his children, Merilee Jahnke (Doug) and Craig Gibbs; his granddaughters, Kate Cantu (Omar), Nicole Janas (Brian) and Haley Lush (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Jack, Loralei Cantu and Blake Janas. He is also survived by his father.
