He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Pruss and Helen Pruss (Smolka); his brothers, Harry, Frank Jr., Lenny and Ed Tom (Magee); and his brother-in-law Ray Medera.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his children, James, Michael (Patty), Tim Pruss and Theresa Madrowski; his stepchildren, David Kowalski (Angie), Brian Mercereau (Moriah) and Andrea Bockness (Shawn); and his sisters, Margie Meyer (Dave) and Janice Medera (late Ray). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
