He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Rhoades and Ruth Rhoades; and his sisters, Carol Bowers (Larry) and Mary McGovern (Ken). He is survived by: his friend Toledo Zoo; his uncle Gene; his children, Georgie Davis (Dan) and Herb Rhoades; the mother of his children Sue Rhoades; his girlfriend Cathy McEwen; his stepchildren, Chris Lewis (Jim), Nicole Cope (Brad) and Doug McEwen; and his siblings, Jack (Monica), Gene (DeeDee) and Kathy Graven.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Walter Funeral Home (4653 Glendale Ave, Toledo, OH 43614).
Because Herb loved children, the family asks that should you care to send a donation, do so on behalf of Herb to The Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
